The Epic Fight to Preserve Our Land, Food, and Way of Life | Guest: Amanda Radke | 8/23/24
Description
We begin today’s discussion with a postmortem on the Democratic National Convention and how Trump’s challenge going forward is to make sure Harris is pegged as the incumbent. So far, Harris has successfully painted him as owning the status quo. I also delve into the partial victory at the Supreme Court on state requirements for proof of citizenship before voting. Once again, Amy Coney Barrett — and to an extent, Brett Kavanaugh — betrayed us. Next, we’re joined by Amanda Radke, a South Dakota cattle rancher who has been a leader in the fight against the green energy pipeline. She celebrates a state supreme court decision that will help block this pipeline project and its accompanying land grab. She has an important presentation on how land controls food and he who controls the food controls the people. If we don’t push back against the Green New Deal and anti-freedom land and farming policies, cattle ranches will become extinct and a handful of foreign-owned companies will ensure that we lack a diverse and abundant supply of cheap, healthy meat. The fights for land use, cattle ranching, and deregulation, along with opposing green energy and conservation subsidies, are among our most important to-do items this coming legislative session.
